WHAT IS LED THERAPY?

Light Emitting Diode (LED) therapy is a process that uses varying wavelengths of light including red and infrared light for a non-invasive, soothing and gentle treatment. It sets in motion the body’s inherent pain-relieving process while promoting total body wellness and peak physiological function. LED light therapy is also known as red light therapy, low level light therapy or photobiomodulation (PBM).

How is red light therapy different from an infrared sauna?

Red light therapy (photobiomodulation) uses specific LED wavelengths (red/near-infrared) to target cells and boost mitochondrial energy—no heat stress required. An infrared sauna primarily uses infrared heat to warm your body core, raise heart rate, and trigger sweating (cardio-like effect). Think cellular signal vs. heat stress

What is red light therapy?

It’s a noninvasive therapy that uses specific red and near-infrared wavelengths from LEDs to deliver light energy to your cells—similar to how plants absorb sunlight—supporting natural repair and optimal function.

What does it help with?

Common goals include supporting skin health (anti-aging), calming acne, easing aches and pains, reducing post-workout soreness, increased blood flow, and promoting overall recovery and resilience.

What does a session feel like?

Treatments feel gently warm—not hot. Most people describe a calm, relaxing experience with a “steady energy” feeling afterward.
